The Flour Shop is a 4th generation small family business that developed from a hobby to a dream come true for owner and designer Hannah James. Hannah graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Horticulture and an emphasis in floral design. Since she was a little girl she dreamed about being able to open up her own flower shop. In May of 2017 she started decorating cookies for her family "just for fun", but quickly learned that others enjoyed them just as much! That hobby turned into a Facebook business and pop up shop that she ran out of her mom's kitchen less than a year later and by October of 2018 she opened the doors of her own storefront. With the opening of the shop she became a full service florist and added multiple bakery items to the daily menu in addition to the decorated sugar cookies. From working the front counter to assisting with deliveries, it's a family affair to keep this shop running.
